Follow Up From Kenley Jones, Southern Utah University

Dear Kagman High School Seniors:

It was a pleasure visiting Kagman High School last Tuesday to speak about
Southern Utah University.  I'm glad so many of you attended to learn more
about SUU.  Now it's time to take the next steps - apply to SUU.  It's
as easy as 1-2-3-4 steps!

Step 1: Submit an online application: http://suu.edu/prostu/seniorapply.html

Step 2: Pay the $50 application fee (at the end of the online
application)

Step 3: Submit your official high school transcripts from Kagman High
School to SUU (your counselors can help you with this)

Step 4: Submit your SAT or ACT test scores.

Once we have these four materials, SUU can begin to consider you for
admissions.  I am confident you will see that SUU can be the right choice
for you: many academic programs to choose from including nursing, sciences,
engineering, and education, as well as one of the most affordable institutions
in the country.  Remember, if you are admitted, you will automatically
receive the Western Undergraduate Exchange tuition discount.  Your WUE
tuition and fees becomes $8,528 a year.
Just think how financial aid
can help cover the remaining balance.

If you have any questions, please let me know.  I'm here to
help.  Best wishes your senior year.

Sincerely,

 Kenley Jones

Quest Bridge seeks students who have demonstrated a level of academic achievement that meets the admissions standards of our partner colleges.  These are students whom you can envision thriving on the campus of a leading college.  In addition, students must demonstrate evidence of financial hardship and obstacles the you have overcome.  While there are no absolute academic or financial cut-offs, the majority of our successful applicants share the following characteristics:
1.  They are in the top 5% or 10% of their class.
2.  They have strong grades in challenging classes and high standardized test scores.
3.  Their household income is less than $60,000 per year.  Often they are maon the first generation in their family to attend college.
